Before proceeding with the Transfer of your .UK domain name, you are advised to confirm if your domain name can be transferred. 1

The process of transferring a .UK domain name from another Registrar is different as compared to the process for domain names under other extensions. In case of a .UK domain name, the inbound Transfer needs to be initiated at the Current Registrar's end.

Once you have determined whether your .UK domain name can be Transferred, you need to follow the steps below:

1. Initiate the Transfer at the Current Registrar with whom you are managing your .UK domain name. You need to provide a Tag in order to initiate the Transfer. To know the Tag, contact our Technical Support Team at http://www.qit.in/submitticket.php.

2. Once Quadra InfoTech receives a notification about the Transfer from the .UK Registry, a notification will be sent to the Registrant Email Address.

3. This email will contain a Security Key associated with the domain name that you have Transferred.

   Note

   • The Security Key needs to be kept confidential.

   • In case the Registrant has not received any notification containing the Security Key, you can contact http://www.qit.in/submitticket.php and request for the Security Key to be re-sent.

   • In case the Registrant has received multiple notifications related to the Transfer, the Security Key listed in the latest email needs to be used.

   • Transfer Request for .UK domain names cannot be placed from within the Control Panel. Hence, it is advised that you re-direct all purchase related links from within your, your company user's and your Customer's Control Panel to your SuperSite URL or your Custom URL (if you have integrated with our platform using our API).

4. Login to your Control Panel. 2

5. In the Control Panel,

   Customers point to Domains -> Domain Registration and click Transfer.

   Resellers point to Products -> Domain Registration -> and click Transfer.

6. Now, enter your .UK domain name. You also need to provide the Security Key, which was sent to the Registrant Email Address.

   Note

   Here, you will be initiating the final step related to the Transfer of your .UK domain name to Quadra InfoTech and not a fresh Transfer.

7. On the next page, you need to provide the Customer Username (Email Address) under whom the domain name needs to be placed.

8. Submit the details.

   Note

   Once the domain name has been activated under your Control Panel, you will receive a notification via email from Quadra InfoTech.
